IP Address Lookup
Find the location, ISP and network of any IP address or domain.
About IP Lookup
An IP address lookup tells you where a server or connection appears to be on the internet and who runs the network behind it. Use it to check where a website is hosted, investigate suspicious traffic in your logs, confirm a VPN is working, or find out which provider owns an address. Results include city, region, country, timezone, ISP, organization and autonomous system number (ASN), plus the hostname when a reverse DNS record exists.
Frequently asked questions
How do I look up the IP address of a website?
Type the domain name, such as example.com, into the box above and press Look up. The tool resolves the name to its current IP address and then shows where that server is, who runs the network, and its hostname.
How accurate is an IP address lookup?
Country is almost always right, city is right most of the time, and anything finer than that is a rough guess. The ISP and ASN come from public routing registries and are reliable. Lookups cannot reveal a street address or a person's identity.
Can I look up a domain name instead of an IP?
Yes. Enter a domain such as example.com and the tool resolves it to its current IP address first, then shows the location, network and hostname of the server behind it. Sites on a CDN will show the CDN's network rather than the origin server.
